About

Who am I?
I am Kelly Phuah, an Aus cycling development, Aus triathlon foundation and IRONMAN certified coach. I currently work with private clients in Australia and the USA and voluntarily coordinate and coach the multisport athletes for my local club, the Redlands Multisport and Cycling Club in Queensland Australia. I have worked in coaching roles with elite and inclusive race teams in USA and Australia since 2018
I have been coaching athletes of various abilities since the beginning of 2018, and competing in the world of endurance sports, triathlon and athletic training for a lifetime. My own athletic achievements include World and Australian Aquabike long course champion W50-54, 4 time finisher and 1 time 3rd place age group finisher at Ironman World Championships in Kona, 6 time finisher and 2 time age group podium place getter at 70.3 world Championships, multiple Australian AG championship titles including long course Triathlon, Aus Cycling Time trial and Gran Fondo. I bring this race experience, my national sporting body coaching credentials as well as my formal educarion in health and nutrition to my coaching service.
My approach to athletes and coaching is shaped by my education, my career in nursing and public health, and my life as an athlete. Based around the idea of sustainability and longevity in the sport, I believe that triathlon, cycling and endurance sports are a lifestyle and that whilst there will be big aggressive goals and challenges set, at the end of the day there is enjoyment and balance.
I want to build fit, tenacious and resilient athletes from new comers, experienced athletes and everyone in between.
